Bosch Rexroth opens new service and training centre in Wakefield
November saw the official opening of Bosch Rexroth's purpose built service and training centre in Normanton, near Wakefield. The opening coincided with the company's celebration of 50 years in the UK.
>The new premises consolidates all of Bosch Rexroth's northern locations - including the recently acquired Hagglunds Drives business and Worcester Bosch Group - into a single facility, supplying engineering solutions and training for hydraulic systems, as well as service and support. The site will provide design and manufacturing of hydraulic systems for industry sectors such as marine and offshore, and will provide repair and refurbishment of products.
>Bosch Rexroth now employs over 700 people in the UK, which is the company's fifth largest market, representing sales of some 2.4bn euros.
