Bighead launches adhesives range
The use of BigHead fasteners has now been greatly extended by the development of modern, industrial-strength adhesives. These permit BigHead fasteners to be mounted in inaccessible and post-manufacture positions in all types of fabrication and assembly, even in direct metal-to-metal situations. The newly-launched BigBond range of surface mount adhesives has been specifically formulated to provide high-performance bonding of the BigHead range onto a wide range of substrates.
Initially consisting of three formulations High Grab, PU Fast Set and FS Acrylic the range provides the correct adhesive for more than 95% of the substrates currently utilised by BigHead's thousands of customers. Bonding performance is exceptional; the Acrylic version, for example, is capable of achieving a lateral shear strength of 3500 PSI. Each tube is supplied with a set of pre-cut Spreader Discs an ingenious way of shaping surplus adhesive to increase its coverage and efficiency.
