Bearings save space, weight and power

Franke wire-race bearings are 65% lighter than comparable steel bearings, so they reduce the overall weight of your design and save valuable operating power.

Bearings save space, weight and power

>Thanks to the Franke principle of inlaid steel raceways, you get complete freedom with regard to the material and shape of your mating structure. In contrast to conventional bearings, the rolling process does not occur directly between the rolling elements and mating structure, but instead smoothly on four open race rings. The raceways are matched to the ball diameter using a special grinding process.

>This special construction principle produces an extremely compact bearing, which also suits use in very small spaces. The designer also has the freedom to choose the individual shape and material of the bearing assembly. This enables designers to employ materials such as aluminium, bronze, magnesium or plastic for the mating structure, without losing on load capacity, precision or service life.

>The Franke anti-friction bearings product range includes bearing elements ready to be inserted into existing applications, slim bearings made to international standards, ready-to-use bearing assemblies with free centre space, and motorised systems with measuring and control units.
