Assembled IPD installation cables
The IPD installation system from Phoenix Contact is completely pluggable and enables the connection of 3- and 5-position cables. Push-Lock as a tool-free connection technology enables the time-saving installation of flexible and rigid conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm.
The IPD connectors are equipped with a fast-locking system so that they are easy to work with even in difficult installation situations. The mating position snaps clearly and securely into place, with mechanical coding to protect against mismatching, and touch protection in accordance with DIN EN 0105.
With IK07 impact resistance and IP66/IP68/IP69 degrees of protection, the installation is also particularly robust and safe as well as water and dust-proof. This enables particularly reliable installations, even outdoors and in damp areas.
Assembled IPD cable assemblies facilitate installation and support fast commissioning, especially in large cabling projects. Phoenix Contact provides connection and control lines made of PVC in four different cable lengths 0.5 m, 1 m, 3 m, and 5 m with plug or coupling and free cable end or plug to coupling. Customer-specific lengths can also be produced on request.
