AS-i safety included in Pluto system
The Pluto AS-i module from Jokab Safety combines the functions of the traditional AS-i master and AS-i safety monitor in a single module. The Pluto AS-i can monitor safety nodes as well as control outputs, in total up to 31 safe/non-safe nodes. It is also possible to use Pluto AS-i to monitor a system in the traditional way with a separate AS-i master. Up to 32 AS-i Plutos or other Pluto PLC models can be connected in
a network via the Pluto CAN bus.
The Pluto AS-i module can read information from the other Pluto modules and their connected safety devices on the bus. The entire safety system can be programmed with the Pluto Manager programming tool with predefined safety function blocks, available in the library.
