Analogue inputs for micro PLC
Continuing the development of the MicroSmart/Pentra PLC range, IDEC has introduced its latest analogue expansion module. This four channel input module completes the range of PLC analogue modules which provide inputs from two to eight according to the module type. In addition one or two channel output modules are also available.
The FC4A-J4CN1 offers 16-bit resolution, option for either voltage or current input and also thermocouple and resistance thermometer capability. The configuration for the inputs are software selectable using the IDEC WindLDR programming software. Each channel can be set to either 4-20mA, 0-10V, K, J and T thermocouples or Pt100/Nt100 thermometers, independently of the other channels.
