Adjustable gas springs reduce delivery times

Gas springs can be found in many applications, and because of the massive scope of potential pressures, it can be extremely hard to find a single product with the correct pressure rating in stock. This can lead to long lead times and, in some cases, if the pressure needs to be set to order prior to delivery, higher purchase prices. Adjustable gas springs solve this problem by offering a comprehensive range of pressures within just four standard products.

The WDS gas springs are constructed from either carbon steel or stainless steel and are suitable for applications where they will be subjected to heavy use. Each spring is fitted with a brass adjusting valve which allows the internal pressure to set. Long lasting gland seals are then used to make sure that the pressure is maintained. Upon installation of the gas spring the pressure can be quickly adjusted to the required level using an Allen wrench.
