Active redundancy modules for preventive function monitoring
The new active redundancy modules in the QUINT product range from Phoenix Contact increase the availability of a system through decoupling and monitoring. The SINGLE ORING modules run the cable to the load redundantly and separately. In combination with the new QUINT POWER power supplies, the redundant system is monitored continuously.
Using preventive function monitoring, the redundancy module informs you about the output voltages of the power supplies, defects in the wiring and the decoupling section, as well as the actual load current.
