10ft and 25ft lengths of chain available from Donghua
Donghua Limited is supplying popular sizes of its Roller Chain in shorter and longer lengths to meet the needs of the UK market. UK-based distributors can now order Donghua's ANSI and BS Roller chain in boxes of 10ft or 25ft lengths, as well as the standard 5 metre boxes, and every length comes with free connecting links as standard.
Bob Wellsbury, managing director of Donghua, explains: "We're the first manufacturer in the country to offer a wider choice of chain lengths for Distributors. 10ft and 25ft used to be the standard lengths sold, but in the 1980s these sizes became a thing of the past because European manufacturers only sold chain in 5 metre boxes."
He adds: "We want to give distributors more choice with popular sizes of our roller chain available in 10ft and 25ft lengths. These lengths will also help to reduce scrap because distributors won't have to cut length to order for customers."
The new lengths of Roller chain are available from 3/8" to 1" in Simplex, Duplex and Heavy Duty.
