R. A. Rodriguez to showcase precision bearings for aerospace at DSEI 2025

R. A. Rodriguez (UK) has been supplying high quality bearings for over 50 years. At DSEI 2025, taking place from 9-12 September 2025 at Excel London, the leading engineering distributor will be showcasing its range of bearings in the aerospace zone.

Product highlights will include SKF Super-Precision Bearings and a new addition to the R. A. Rodriguez product portfolio - aerospace miniature instrument bearings from Pacamor Kubar Bearings (PKB).

Aerospace miniature instrument bearings

PKB aerospace miniature instrument bearings are speciality ball bearings for highly precise applications, with bore sizes as small as 1.5 mm in the metric ball bearing range. Made in 440C stainless steel, these FAA-certified miniature instrument bearings are available in ABEC 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 tolerance classes. A variety of retainer materials, speciality ball materials, coatings and closures are available on request.

Designed for use in extreme, challenging environments, PKB speciality bearings can be used for space vehicles, satellites, cryogenics, gyroscopes, guidance systems, aircraft instruments and flow control systems. Both PKB and R. A. Rodriguez hold ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certifications. PKB has an in-house Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) to assist in advancing the shipment of FAA-certified aircraft bearings resulting in short lead times.

Aerospace and speciality bearings

Also on stand S3-172, R. A. Rodriguez will be showcasing McGill aerospace and speciality bearings. The bearings can be manufactured in a wide range of styles, materials, sizes and precision classes. All bearings are custom designed according to application needs. Applications typically include gearboxes, pumps, actuation, control, airframe, and military where bearings and bearing wheels are required to be small, lightweight, strong, resistant to heat, wear and corrosion.

McGill aerospace bearings are ISO9001 and AS9100 certified, as well as NADCAP accredited for heat treating, chemical processing and non-destructive testing methods. These speciality bearings offer longer fatigue life, improved corrosion resistance and reduced vibration. They offer high performance and reliability.

Thin section bearings

R. A. Rodriguez is the sole factory representative of Kaydon, an SKF Group brand, in the UK, Ireland, Turkiye and Scandinavia, and will be showcasing Kaydon thin section bearings at DSEI 2025. These bearings are characterised by their low profile and weight. They are renowned for providing exceptional design flexibility and capable of withstanding the most challenging conditions.

Kaydon's thin section bearings range consists of Reali-Slim and Ultra-Slim bearings, as well as Reali-Slim TT slewing rings. There are three basic types: radial contact, angular contact and four-point contact bearings. Typical applications include helicopter swash plates and gearboxes, radars, satellites and propulsion and control systems.
